They had some sketchiness going on around parade grounds on walk to the game. Told the wife to hurry up and walk.

Game ended 5 hrs ago… not a game issue

They were in the game. Ridiculous black women going off because their seat was not directly in the portal where they entered the stadium. As if someone was discriminating against them for that. Said white people were crazy because no one realized most of the players did not look like them. A group refused to move over on the sidewalk after the game, just because they were black. They continue to dig their own grave w me. I’ve had it forever unless they change my mind w changed behavior.

same crowd as in past.. you can tell by one particular canopy ( red and white).. also whenever you sees lot of pickup trucks all lined up side by side parking on the grass under the oaks ( saw this early this morning.. different c pattern than usual crowd .. and vehicles) you know things are going to be different.. usually results in a lot of bbq pits brought in..

crowd fills up the enchanted forest and spills off toward the five parking lot..

This was actually the largest crowd I have ever seen.. stretched down into azalea hall up to chimes on chimes down to circle k..

Yeah it is pretty uncomfortable.. at the moment still some people wandering the area.. I see police lights down at the intersection at circle k..

This is not a strictly lsu event .. imo probably sponsored by some lsu groups and then a bunch of friends and family come..lots of newbies wandering lost out there now. They do not know the area .

I heard police were walking in the crowd earlier.. pepper guns etc.. I know they had four police vehicles parked right by azalea hall a little while ago..

Fwiw in the past they usually leave a few older grills out there and do not bother to hauk them off.. may find a camp grill in the forest in The morning.. lsu eventually sends someone to haul them all off.

It’s is a game issue. If it’s on campus on a gameday , it’s an issue.

Also, the police presence around parade grounds was nonexistent on walk to and from stadium. Pathetic on lsu and LSP

Tiger Tv says tear gas used to disperse. No reports of shooting that I have seen.

While the incoming freshman class reversed a trend of whites being below 50% of the freshman class it did so with a smaller class which is adding more weight to the record large quantities of the 2024 & the 2025 incoming classes that both had whites below 50%.

That’s why even with an improvement for incoming freshmen putting whites back above 50% of the incoming class this fall whites continued to lose ground in % of total undergraduates on campus. Might see similar next fall.

Fall 2025 Total Undergraduates
whites 53.9%
blacks 23.5%
hispanics 10.9%
asians 4.3%

Fall 2026 Total Undergraduates
whites 52.8%
blacks 24.2%
hispanics 11.1%
asians 4.5%

Fall New Incoming Freshmen
2025
Total 8,212
white 3,995 48.6%
black 2,331 28.4%

2026
Total 7,482
white 3,817 51%
black 1,924 25.7%

No - was there a shooting?

Because we have a thread on the front page saying there’s a shooting, and nothing from any local outlet.

If you mean for fall 2028 incoming class that is correct, but for next fall’s incoming class it’s still optional for 3.5 GPAs and above which is where a lot of scholarships get handed out. There will be at least one more freshmen class where it’s awarded scholarships and it’s admissions to honors college will be based on test optional applications.
