If this is going to be how things are handled, I'd rather not pitch Skenes today.
I don't care how good our pen was last week, it would be an unmitigated disaster if we lose Skenes after 3 or 4 innings because there's a threat of rain in the area despite the sun being out.

It wasn’t spotted. Per LSU twitter they delayed due to a chance of thunderstorms in the area. Going to be delayed till the fall if that’s how we’re handling this

I’ll sit here until 2:00AM if it means getting a full start out of Skenes.
In the best interest of both teams I wouldn’t start this game if it means there’s a legit possibility the “aces” go 3 innings then have to sit.
