Does it really matter who is at the helm of the Fighting Tigers?
From their perspective, it seems like we’ve always underachieved post-2019 regardless of who is HC.
From their perspective, we SHOULD be Georgia-West and handle business and games like UK tonight.
Is it just an LSU thing and do we perennially have our sights set too high?

Not to bust any bubbles, but Georgia was a pubic hair away from losing to Mark Stoops the last time they played at UK.

Its just difficult to win on the road in this league. And we have 3 starters out.

Take 2 of the top 5 players off any other team and see how well they fare

No LSU has massively underachieved outside of a few lucky National championships. It’s a top 10 football program and brand that rarely performs as such.

LSU was losing their identity before 2019. 2019 made the identity loss seem ok. Instead of chasing 2019 we should remember 2011

LSU has sucked since 2008 really. A high blip in 2011. Then same in 2019.

I wish I was an Ohio state fan. Must be nice to be relevant all year every year

Correct. We are a media darling for lack of better explaining it and put on a pedestal and losses are magnified.
It was an interesting question that was posed though and also factors into “how long does Lane get?”.

Yes. Not a bad thing, but unless you’re Georgia or Ohio State you’ll be disappointed every year.
