You don't give a QB all day to throw on third and long. He will find a hole in the defense. It doesn't take a DC to figure this out. It's common sense.

Because most of this board are fricking idiots who don’t know shite about ball and Pirate Queen is chief among them. He believes Baker should run off the bench and make a tackle himself when the players frick up and don’t make a play when it’s right there in front of them.
The players were in perfect position on at least 4 of those 3rd and long conversions and Brown’s TD run. They didn’t get off blocks, make tackles with hands on or didn’t pick off a ball right by their ear hole. This wasn’t a case of playing prevent on 2 min drives, which is on Baker.
He needs to fix it, but part of that is getting Keys off the field and that’s not a coaching issue with Weeks out and Singleton also banged up this week.

Maybe, but our offense percentage on 4th down is like 13 of 15 …… so take one…. I’d rather the second, if it means continuing drives and giving the offense a chance to put points on the board.
Our defense has been pretty stout in scoring defense.

Damn they must have torched us on 3rd down today… 5 of 13 with 7 punts. 270 total yds.

Pirate Queen’s feelings are much more important than hard stats and results.
