Chriss graded out very well this past weekend in the Houston Regional. This young man has a bright future, is LSU considering giving him a look in spite of already receiving a pledge from Howard?

The Woodlawn High School Baton Rouge QB is legit too
Not sure where he ends up but he will be a good pickup for either a small school or could possibly get some Power 5 offers.
Players like that don't get all the exposure if they can't afford to attend all the camps.

While I think we stick with just Howard, Chriss is a coaches son as well and a hell of an athlete. Landry Williams(his HC at Madison Prep) has done a hell of a job coaching him up over the past few years and I’d guess he’ll be a P5 starter by his Jr yr in college.

Strange that all the time Miles was head coach, the word was, Louisiana doesn't produce many quality QBs.
Now they are loaded.

Both statements can be true. While Miles was our HC, we really didn't have a lot of top tier in-state QB talent. Brandon Harris was the highest rated and best-regarded QB recruit from LA during that time.

Lately, we have had some really good ones. Let's hope that the current trend continues.
