Zachary Evans big opening night

LSU needs to be on this guy like white on rice. Opening night last night vs. the Katy tigers a powerhouse 6A in Texas high school football, Evans had around 150 yards on 15 carries and 4 touchdowns... dude proving he’s the best back in the country against a hell of a team opening weekend. Probably didn’t get more touches since they knew they had the game at one point. Would love for this guy to come to LSU

He’s the best high school back since Fournette. I believe his final 10 releases tonight. Looking like it could be us, Texas, and Bama.

Isn’t Northshore where K’Lavon Chassion went? Can’t imagine this wouldn’t be the angle LSU coaches would use to get in Evans ear

Yes, Chassion as well as Eric Monroe went there. You’re right it should be a big recruting pitch for us.

It was amazing how he mad Glass look so normal by comparison. It’s a shame he was having issues (seemed like cramping) because it could have been even more impressive.

Yep. Players reaching out to a hs player has no effect on recruiting...unless of course they would be buying him cars, lol

Zach is the real deal. Great kid that needs to keep the right attitude and work ethic through his jr and Sr year. If he does that then the sky is the limit for him. I would love to see him in the P&G in a couple years. Would also love for Eric and K’Lavon to come back for a game or two. I’m sure they will. Lotta great young talent on North Shore’s team this year. All Americans at RB, QB, WR, RT for their respective classes. Defense is always fast and aggressive, stacked with D-1 talent. It’s gonna be a fun year.
