The #1,2,3 & 7 receivers in the nfl in 2024. And #7 missed 2 games. If we could only develop a receiver.
Truly mind boggling that this keeps happening

What register is he working

When ge signed that addidas deal I knew he was gonna eventually flip. He just had knee surgery 2 days ago to clean some stuff up. He said he is playing against us/Oakgrove in 3 weeks, we will see

If your word doesn't mean anything, who can trust them
But I do forget that Millennial and Gen Z people generally think it's okay to take out loans and not repay them.

That's your opinion.
Everyone has the free will to react any way they see fit.
When you start accepting MONEY for your COMMITMENT/SERVICES, then your are OPEN TO CRITICISM. This exchange makes them professionals.
You don't get to have all the praise, then disappoint, then escape any responsibility of your disappointment. THIS IS NOT A 1 WAY STREET.
I completely understand that this is the current climate of Transfer Portal/NIL era. What I don't understand is, How can people that know the difference between right and wrong behavior, defend these kids when they pull the rug?
How many stud receivers that wanted to take a real look at LSU pass because of this freaking kid?? It is a Zero character move.

I stand corrected, I never dreamed a school would be stupid enough to make the adidas mistake twice

And you wouldn’t ?
Coming out of high school someone is offering you $250k-$500k more?
I’m telling my son to go get that money….make him live
Like a normal college kid, and have enough when he gets out to pay for a house. Not a bad way to start life

That extra $250,000 ain’t shite to the MILLIONS more you get from actually being developed into an NFL receiver. Bad parenting

I disagree. If you’re an NFL player, you’re an NFL player.
Go ball out 1 year, then go to
The next highest bidder.
No more
Loyalty these days…. Unfortunately.

We grow receivers on trees frick him

Look I love LSU and follow recruiting with a passion. But is it mind boggling that it keeps happening? It hasn’t happened very often. 1,2,3 and 7 has never happened. The highest rated receiver in the last few classes and the one that would be getting the most NIL isn’t currently on a team.
You’d have to go back to 2014 with Landry and Beckham to find top tier LSU wide receivers.
It sucks to lose out on top tier wide receivers and trying to diminish that fact by saying Louisiana guys only doesn’t really solve anything.

Folks get mad when people say it, but it really is pointless to worry about commits a year or more out. It truly is just a leverage play in the majority of those cases or simply a kid wanting to get some attention. Just check in a couple weeks before signing day to see more or less who we are gonna end up with. The rest is just discussion fodder but nothing to put too much into imo

Agreed. You could look at any schools commit list today and I’ll bet you it’s gonna look a lot different by signing day. The underwood deal was the epitome of today’s recruiting world. End up at a school you weren’t even interested in because they suddenly drop a bag.
I don’t blame the kids. I love LSU but if someone offered me significantly more money, that’s where I’m going. The system needs to be fixed but unfortunately this has become pro ball without the guardrails to protect the teams/schools.
The good news is high school recruiting isn’t the end all anymore. Now you can just go buy whatever you want in the portal if you’re so inclined.
Truly a special era in college football that really makes you appreciate what it used for be
