I'm not sure why Shaq's son would still want to be there. Can he back out now and come to LSU? If he can back out he probably wants to chart a different path from his father but it's worth the effort to ask.

He will transfer to Ucla if he does anything.

Now that I read article looks like UK. UCLA was a top for him early in his recruiting.

Was just thinking about this last night once I heard the report... I don’t think Shaq’s son still ends up in Arizona....But also remember that LSU could be in some trouble as it relates to TQ FWIW

The lsu situation was agents paying for The players to sign. Not lsu trying to get the players to come to lsu

And if he accepted money while he was at LSU when has this become legal????

No, but LSU will say they had no idea and probably just be slapped with some vacated wins for playing an ineligible player. Not that we had any important wins during TQ'S time here

Exactly. This is a systemic problem as Emmert said. All the blue bloods were linked to the same issue. This isn't gonna blow anyone up. This is gonna mean maybe some vacated wins and certainly some regulatory changes. Nothing more.

There's a big difference between LSU and Arizona though, Zona could be in some shite seeing as it appears the coach was at least involved in orchestrating the payment, I'm surprised Miller still has a job today

Oh absolutely. Having coach on tape offering a recruit is much different from a current player taking benefits from an agent. It's not like it an enticement for TQ to come here. He took money from agent after being here. That's an eligibility issue assuming the school/coaches didn't know. As you said, situations like Arizona and Louisville are much different

NO!!! This idea has been proposed more than once, and nothing has changed. He doesn't want to play in the shadow cast by his fathers legacy. He'd feel extra pressure to excel and that's pressure a teenager doesn't need going to college. He wants to be known as his own man, not Shaq's son. It's a label he will struggle to shed for a long time, but harder to shed if he came to LSU.

I get that he may not want to be in dad’s shadow, but too much added pressure? Cmon now. These are high level athletes we are talking about, and there will always be pressure to play well no matter where he goes or what level he is playing on. I don’t think it would be too much pressure on him to go to LSU, and if it is too much maybe he isn’t cut out to play in the NBA.

Shaq's kid comes to LSU w our already loaded recruiting class and we could be headed to SEC and national elite status again. That's certainly something for him to consider.

Because the school was not involved and the payment makes TQ ineligible which will force LSU to vacate any wins he was associated with.
