He’s going to be a Whitworth type of guy. He seems like a great kid and busts his arse off. Actually puts hard work in instead of just looking at himself as a shoe in because he’s a naturally gifted athlete and huge. We’re super lucky to have him and I know Walker is thrilled GEAUX Tigahs!

Good! I think if Max wins the starting job in 2021, that LSU will be able to make another natty run in 2022, if LSU can put together a good enough offensive line.
With Will Campbell and Emery Jones coming in, maybe LSU can.

How do you know? I’m asking because I remember the same threads about Kardell. He would post videos of him working out, and dozens of posters would praise his work ethic, and they were convinced that he was a day one starter. There was zero dissension from that point of view on this board.

He doesn't know lol. If it was *known* that Campbell was going to become Andrew Whitworth, he would be the #1 ranked recruit in the country. Hell, he would probably be the #1 ranked recruit in *history*.

Kardell was just an internet sensation that wasn’t actually a good football player. The videos of him being a 330 lbs sophomore using his body to throw smaller people around made him massively overhyped. I remember seeing viral videos of him at camps practically close-lining people into the ground and people were gushing over how strong he was. People expected him to get in better shape and improve technique by the time he was a senior and after he went in the other direction the services promptly dropped him.

He struck it rich by hyping himself on You Tube. I remember, at this stage in recruiting, Camps and such, the glow started coming off the rose. When he went against top DL recruits in the country, he was average.
He has had a couple of years to show us which is the real Kardell. I think we know but hopefully he can make a correction.
Campbell has shown, competing with the best, he is one of the best.

Campbell has a mean streak in him and you can tell he doesn’t like to get beat. Watching him against Wiggins last week you can tell he takes it personally when Wiggins beats him in certain drills. One thing about a player like Campbell is that he will learn and get better from it and when he hits the college weight room look out. Glad he will be a tiger and I see him playing very early.
