His arm strength, while good, is not what I would qualify as "ELITE."

His arm strength looks much better than Sorsbys on highlight tapes at least. Also looks faster.

I’d call it elite, I ain’t scared.

Not to mention having Tyson at WR, a 2026 NFL top-10 pick.

Always love when posters say stuff like this. As if the qb doesn’t help make the wr look good too. Should we say Burrow is less than because he had Chase and Jefferson? So silly

Are you getting confused by the arm action of throwing harder?

Sorsby 100% throws a better, stronger ball, with less effort.

2025 Highlights from Sorsby

If you don’t want to call him an elite passer that’s fine. But he has made elite deep plays. He’s shown the ability. You’ll have no choice but to wait and see what he can do.

That's fine, I don't think anyone except you has called him an elite passer. I'm just trying to be realistic about who Sam Leavitt is and what LSU is getting if they can land him.

All I'm trying to explain is what kind of quarterback Leavitt is, and that is fine. He will do very well with Lane if LSU lands him. However, what's the point in pretending he is something that he isn't?

have no clue what film you are watching. He has a great arm. He is the total package, physically.

I know of a great lasik eye doctor if you need one. Not hating, just offering it since you seem to be having trouble.

I said, “great passer”. He has shown that. But yes, he has made elite plays. He’s not the best passer in college football no. Lane wanted Sorsby first as did I. That doesn’t mean Leavitt has not shown the ability to be a great passer.

How's LSU doing? I watched them against TAMU and witnessed one of the worst press breaks I've ever seen coached and knew exactly how the game would go.

Apologies, it was the poster above you that made this statement:

quote:

Doesn't have a strong arm? He might the best deep ball in all of college football, its elite

Which is a laughable statement.

He can pass. Might not be the best. But the kid knows when to tuck it and run. Only problem is from what highlights I've watched, he doesn't slid. So diffently need a solid backup.

He will not have the Nuss problem of staring at 10 yards of open grass and not running, that is for sure.
