He did, but as RH hitting 1B, he probably wasn’t going to get offered what he was looking for. His birthday is Aug 1. so his age probably won’t be held against him next year as much as it would with a pitcher like Herring.

Simple - other than having great power, he’s was essentially viewed as position-less and the other offensive metrics were average
