Is the the LSU hypocrites thread?

As long as it is within the rules.
P.S. The notion that the reason Saban outrecruits everyone is because of oversigning or callous tactics is pretty ridiculous. He outrecruits everyone because (a) he is very charming on visits: (b) he is highly respected by the NFL and hads a proven track record of putting numerous players in the first round of the draft: and (c) he wins alot, including three national championships.

Miller's case was way worse than Philon. The kid had already moved to town. Sorry, Miles is no better than Saban in this regard. (or in game prep, fwiw)
You are an idiot. Miller was an EE. Also he was given a choice which he would have taken but his daddy got pissed...(Rightfully so)
However this kid at bama got screwed the day of and had to go somewhere.
Again your an idiot. Miles = class $abun = slimey.

Sure dont sound like it.
I do love how every gump homer has "inside info" on what the coaches at bama are doing.

Just a question. I'm not flaming

Obviously, you must not follow the NFL closely. Let me guess, you're basing your emoticon laden opinion on Saban's failure in Miami, right? And based on that failure, you've erroneously deduced that the NFL has no regard for Saban, yes? You're dead wrong. Multiple NFL teams and scouts - including Bill Belicheck, arguably the best coach in the NFL - have a stated preference for drafting Saban's players because he does such a good job mentally preparing them to play in the league. Do some basic research before you post nonsense, please.

Which was to grayshirt
What did Bama offer Philon. To grayshirt? No diff
Why do you keep making excuses. You related to Miles? or paid staff?

Yet if Miles did the same thing he'd be crucified on this board.
As well he should.

Miller was not offered a grayshirt. Stop posting. You are embarrassing yourself.
To the Bama poster who said that Saban was charming on his visits: Liars are always charming. That is how they get away with it.
As for Saban doing a better job of preparing players for the NFL, I don't see a great number of Saban's players tearing up the NFL that would not have at other schools. How does he make them better than any other good coach would?
His recruiting schtick is a bunch of bs, and people buy it.

I think it's actually the thread where LSU fans huddle up and talk bad about Saban to make themselves feel better for getting beatdown by him twice in a month. There's one for Auburn fans on the SECr too.

Huh? If the projections are correct, Alabama will have eight first round draft picks between this season and last. Eight. That's 1/8 of total first round picks over that period coming from one school. One of one hundred and ninteen division one schools accounts for 1/8 of first round NFL drafts picks over a two year span. That's pretty remarkable. That's why kids go there.

Ok your right
$abun is not a LIAR.
And
I am the President of the US

Really?
Here's the New England roster --
New England Roster
From my counting, there are 2 players from Bama. One has been in the league for 6 years so he has nothing to do with Saban.
The other is a part-time player drafted at the bottom of the seventh round.
The only LSU players on the roster are Kevin Faulk (before Saban's time here) and Steven Ridley (after Saban's time here).
The moral of the story -- STOP TALKING OUT OF YOUR arse.

To the dumbasses in this thread trying to compare what Saban does year in and year out to what Miles did with Patrick Miller know this. Miller still had an offer and a scholarship, the problem was that it appeared as though he could not early enroll. He could have come in the summer with the rest of the recruits. The porter situation was simply a guy qualified that no one thought he would.
For those of you even thinking Saban is the same as Miles, frick you. It's not even close. Miles genuinely cares about these kids. Saban uses them in a way that he thinks benefits him and him alone.
From my understanding of what happened Miller was told he could enroll early and then when someone more desirable came along (Kiel) Miller was told to enroll in the fall or pay his own way in spring. While the circumstances are not exactly the same, in terms of my standards of ethics they are only separated by a shade of bullshite. To deny that is only confirmation of your own bias.
