The tickets aren’t that cheap but in the fall if you pay you can go inside look around and they play a football game too.

I did a summer in Nebraska and decided to do a stadium tour as I drove back down.

Nebraska has an area with its own entrance that leads you to a viewing area. Can't get anywhere else other than that. It was pretty cool.

Security concerns and expense of damage repair. A large part of the public doesn't respect anything.

Do they not? I’ve toured the stadium and locker rooms before.

This is a great idea but obviously some in the athletic department don’t. A couple of years ago, my daughter and SIL, both LSU grads, were in town during the summer and we were walking around the stadium. The SW gate was open so we walked in to the fence. All of a sudden, some guy starts yelling from the new south upper deck to get out. As we got back to the Mike statue in front of the stadium, he had already made his way down and was standing in the SW gate area. We laughed and wondered if maybe he had actually jumped to get us out.
Good thing it wasn’t some potential recruit and family . It did not make a good impression.

That sounds like a great idea.

FSU and UF are usually open, at least the times that I visit. It's really cool to walk into empty stadiums and frolic on the grass.

Let’s say that they did offer a tour.

What elements of tiger stadium would you really like to see up close and personal?

Thanks for sharing. Didn't know about the guided tours.

My brother and I both moved away for work and come back for a game each season. We used to go to the stadium on Sunday morning after a game and throw a Nerf football on the field. We had a blast. Probably did this a dozen times, although last time was prolly 5 years ago. Never once did anything stupid. Never got run out, either. From recent news of stupid people doing stupid things, I think there is little chance for doing this these days. Little known fact, but I have more touchdown catches than any other receiver in LSU history.

I was TDY in Columbus Ohio a few years ago. I drove over to Ohio State and walked right into the stadium. Didn’t cost a penny.

My kids go nearly every year for school field trips. Lots of parents volunteer to chaperone that one.
