remains to be seen. work is still in progress with miles. his first season with mostly his recruits, his first ever "prize recruit" gets booted from the team. unfortunately, that recruit happened to be the starting qb, who imo would have been a stud.

AT LSU Les Miles has a better average class over his years. Saban overall so far is a better recruiter but Miles is just about even IMO.

I have to give the edge to LES. Saban was good at getting all the local guys but less is great on a nationwide scale

Considering they have both won a BCS championship, and both brought in the two highest rated recruiting classes last year, it is a tie.

Has to go to Saban right now. Still remains to be seen for Miles. I think Les is a great recruiter but he hasn't had his entire first class even graduate yet, so it remains to be seen. Goes to Saban because he won a NC with ALL his guys he recruited and he recruited excellent for a shitty program before he got here.

Yea, Les won a NC. But it was far easier for him to continue the winning when the red carpet was already laid out for him when he arrived at LSU. Saban had to rebuild everything. Les just had to keep it going and not frick it up.

I'd have to give the edge to Miles, but it's very close. I've never seen LSU be such a player in so many different states recruiting wise.

It bodes well for the future!

In the end, it will be Les. I think the players enjoy being part of an Les Miles team more than a Nick Saban team. And, I think Miles' teams are coached as well or better than Saban's.

Both coaches are not afraid of staff changes, either. But, I think miles changes staff with more class. I think Les is the better overall coach of the two and certainly better for LSU. Saban is a self promoter, Miles doesnt really care about self promotion.

saban won an NC with all his guys? thought he won it in his 3rd yr. still had guys from dinardo, who by the way, recruited some good players. hired AWFUL DC (tepper) and wouldn't fire him. tepper was as good as auburn OC (franklin)was last yr. the situation was much better for saban coming in than it was for dinardo.

I am going to go with this guy and it is not even close.
Eric Alexander, Randall Gay, Devery Henderson, Chad Lavalais, Nate Livings, Stephen Peterman
Lionel Turner, Corey Webster, Ben Wilkerson
Marcus Spears, Andrew Whitworth, Marcus Spears
Ronnie Prude, Rudy Niswanger, Melvin Oliver
Marquise Hill, Joseph Addai, Michael Clayton
Travis Daniels, Skyler Green, Justin Vincent
Kyle Williams, Cameron Vaughn, Jessie Daniels
Ally Broussard, Jonathan Zenon, Matt Flynn
Shawn Jordan, Craig Davis, LaRon Landry
Kirstin Pittmen, Cornell Stewart
Dwayne Bowe, JaMarcuss Russell, Quinn Johnson
Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson, Curtis Taylor
Claude Wroten, Brett Helms, Charles Alexander
Chevis Jackson, Craig Steltz, Jacob Hester
Luke Sanders, Early Doucet, Marlon Favorite
Ali Highsmith, Harry Coleman, Herman Johnson

I think Miles is doing a great job, but to compare the two fricking stupid. It took Saban what 4 years to win a NC, recruiting takes time and i hope and think Miles will prove to be the better of the two. But right now I have to go with Saban.
If i made any mistakes on sabans recruiting casses tell me.
