Who is the true #1 QB in 2027 Class

Peyton “Pop” Houston wins Rival Top QB MVP
Just looked over the Rivals Dallas Camp QB rankings and surprise ,No Elijah Haven again. Meanwhile, I keep seeing Peyton Houston and other LSU recruits out there grinding at every major camp, putting in work and proving why they belong there.
Malachi Zeigler was out there competing and was ranked #2 at QB. Jabari Mack even walked away with the MVP at WR.These dudes are showing up and rising while Haven’s still M.I.A.
Houston is starting to look like my favorite in this class. He led the state in passing last year in 5A as a sophomore, won QB MVP at Rivals Camp and Under Armour Camp. He also has more offers than Haven. Zeigler’s rising fast too.
But Haven? I haven’t seen him at any camps. No Rivals. No Under Armour. No Elite 11. At some point, it stops looking like strategy and starts looking like he’s ducking the smoke.
If LSU is looking at future QBs, give me the one who shows up and earns it in real time. Not the one riding off rankings and private workouts. We recruit dogs in Death Valley not ghosts!

Measurables play a big factor this early in recruitment. We’ll see how it plays out in the regular season.

Some guys just dont camp and dont want to camp, I dont see what the big deal is. It doesnt mean anything as to how good a player you actually are/arent.
Haven camping or not camping isnt going to affect his recruitment one bit.

Do you know why he hasn’t gone to camps? Kid might be working a full time job in the summer for all you know.

I prefer Pop Houston but i get Haven and those measurables being number one this far out. Houston is just the best football player Ive seen in person in north west Louisiana since Tre Davious White.

I’m starting to buy stock on this guy although I’m a big Haven fan also, we gotz to get at least one. Also had to post just to tell the top DB MVP is named: J. Outhouse Jr, you can’t make this sht up!

Thanks Arch, but Haven is not a household name yet, but you can’t camp 6’5” 220lbs 16yrs old and high IQ.

I love Houston with the way he can escape the pocket and throw on the run. As long lsu gets one of houston or haven they will be fine. Both kids are Great qbs.

Lsu is not letting haven leave louisiana and lsu currently has 60% odds to land him.

Unlike you, i don't need to see the kid win events. I love what i hear about Haven, and he's still my #1 QB for LSU in 2027. Doesn't mean i don't like the other guys, I just like him more. Love his potential more.

LSU is in great shape no matter what happens. You will be getting on of Haven, Houston, Ziegler, and Nuss.
Call me crazy but Houston or Ziegler two years down the road in an opposing uniform will suck so bad to watch. I want one of these two.

He's really good. We're lucky to be able to witness Louisiana putting out all this QB talent.

Honestly, I think we get Haven & Nuss 2.0.

I am interested to see how little Nuss does this year playing in Louisiana.

Odd subject for a first post.
Give me any one of those three LA guys and hope the other two go somewhere outside the SEC. And who's to say with the current transfer portal that someone doesn't come back home in the future.

He'll be fine, TX ball is bigger than La ball, for the most part. I'll take Nuss 2.0 he's bigger than his brother, shifty, and a lefty
