Agree, Bower from N.J. I remember the scene in our 'war room', much clapping and jubilation. Don't honestly remember any other big ones prior to that...but in recent years the cameras, etc are now in these 'war rooms' and we get to see more of the behind the scenes reactions.
I bet this year it is going to be stressful ALL DAY. Too many deciding on NSD. While I think we will get our share, I don't think we will fill what we can at 26-28 spots....

This is quite true. LSU had given his sister a track scholarship and he had said that he wanted to attend the same university that she did. He'd given every indication he was pro-LSU. I still have ill feelings towards him for trolling LSU like that.

As tough a player and blocker that he was, in retrospect, I kind of wish he'd gone somewhere else. He cost LSU big in the Alabama games of 2012 and 2013 with his boneheaded screw-ups (PF penalty, fumble at goal line), especially in the 2012 game with his PF penalty after Jeremy Hill had gotten us inside the ten yard line and a first down.

Harvey Williams was epic.
I heard that he was sick of the Aggie fight song....and a band showed up playing the song at his signing. It annoyed him so much, he changed his mind in the very last minute and chose the Tigahs!!
Also, I cannot believe I cant remember his first name, but the cornerback (James) who was committed to Michigan and flipped to LSU on signing day. His Michigan handler was in town getting drunk and celebrating. Then news spread of the flip. He was seen sprinting from the bar in panic.

I don't think he trolled LSU. I think he was all LSU until he and his family got an offer they couldn't refuse soon before the announcement. I think he felt really bad about having to tell the LSU coaches no after telling them he was coming and he just chose to go the spineless route and not tell LSU until they watched him commit to Bama

I was at the Recruiting Bash the year that Joe McKnight made his NSD decision. I've never seen a crowd empty from a place as fast as it did when McKnight picked USC over LSU.
