I think this is sorta the answer to Bama. Get the ball out and work quicker at times. Not necessarily a no huddle unless that would be working. A fast paced offense not letting them make calls then hitting them with short curls, outs, inns, mis direction ect.

We looked nervous out there and looked like they were hurrying our offense instead of the other way around. They have to all calm the frick down, know what they are doing, then execute the plan. What I mean by fast paced is having calls ready so when you get to the line you have time to hurry them not the other way around. You can move your parts how you want then, hike the ball then the parts move quickly but efficiently. Quick screens, draws, fake screens then over the middle, fake draws then a screen to the WR. Fast after the snap but have your calls ready to go. First drive needs to be perfectly called and executed.

Harris did have some nice throws the season prior against him, before the online got ate up and a sweet TD pass.

I'd probably have made the switch.

There were no holes. I'll tell you a secret strategy that all head coaches employ. When there are no holes they don't fix that by putting in their second best back. It was quite excusable.

You're oversimplifying it. Fournette and Guice are quite different in the backfield. Fournette attacks the hole and powers through it. Guice is more elusive in the backfield and more effective bouncing on broken plays. While it probably wouldn't have made a huge different, I feel like his skill set warranted a look.

BTW, I notice that when the New England Patriots are struggling to pass block they don't pull Tom Brady, either.

Apples and oranges.

Since 90% agree that getting time was issue, sprint by qb, short slants to guice, wrs.
Guile.
Draws.
High arc jump balls to the bama 7 yard line.

I don.t think anything would have helped. If we had scored a touchdown, there would have been a holding or some other penalty. The refs were not going to let LSU beat Bama.

Down votes for the obvious? I guarantee you Saban or any of the top coaches would have benched their QB during that game.
