He's an interesting player. Def a tweener that chavis likes. Olb or safety. We need help at both positions. Will be a good pick up to provide depth at either position. Prob won't see much pt next year, but no telling. If you come ready to play as a true frosh, you will play.

Better question is what kind of year did Tony Upchurch have. He's 230 and if we get chi and speedy and Tyron Johnson next year, he'll probably never see the field

Alexander is still committed. Although his offer list is not that impressive, he obviously impressed enough at camp for the coaches to extend an offer. Perhaps the reason for lack of offers could be that he committed to LSU so early in the process. At the SPARQ combine, his measurables were decent but not standout: 6'.5", 196, 4.83 40-yd dash and 27.9 vertical jump. I question whether the coaches like him at LB or Safety due to his size.

I hate to get caught up in measurables, but those make me think he'll tend toward LB or some hybrid thereof.

I think he's closer to 210 lbs.

SPARQ was in February of this year. Since then, he might have added weight.

Yeah according to the East West All Star thread, he's listed at 215 I believe.

I thought I saw somewhere he ran a 4.5. Was that not laser timed or something? 4.83 is not fast. He needs to be alot faster than that at 205 lbs IMO. Hopefully he plays in pads faster than his 40 time indicates he is.

I haven't seen any other 40 times for Donnie, but I'd imagine he can run faster than 4.83. However, I'm not sold on him at safety yet.

Man if your son keeps growing he is going to be J. Clowney. Only more beastly. I would rather see him continue to grow and dominate at DE. he will make more money in the pros and play longer
