Does anyone have any legitimate sources to site that this is based on, or is this all based on the bullshite that is Twitter and some dumb rednecks thinking their drinking buddy is a legitimate source b/c they're obsessed with LA HS football?

Just curious...been out of the loop for a few days.

Probably, because only Hootie and his inner circle really know where he is going Our mods don't even really have any info and are all going off of gut feelings or so it seems.
Eta: Either way, we should know a little more Sunday evening I would think. Good thing is, it'll be over Monday. And nevilletiger79, who seems to have the most legitimate sources on this board concerning this situation said that as of last night the neville coaches don't know which way he is leaning. However, i believe that the kid knows where he wants to play. Whether that's LSU or Gumpville. No one here really knows for sure but we don't have much longer to wait.

OK here y'all go...spoke with couple Neville coaches today.. This is from them.... Hootie had fun time at lsu as did family...his trip to bama wasn't as good as expected.... he has not told them anything as of today on how he is leaning....
This is from the best source(nevilletiger79) concerning Hootie on this board. This is where we're at.

Well everyone who claims to have "sources" say he's gone, including pay sites. It's not like one poster started the speculation.

The vibe is coming from Bama "sources" or board insiders being confident while LSU remains "unsure" and just hopeful...

Each and every time we find ourselves in this kind of mindset, Bama wins out every time..

They were confident with Collins, and Robinson and now Hootie...

they got Lacy qualified when we didn't even really believe it could be done..

The REC gonna Wreck..

One poster said that the reason for the sudden negativity is a rumor that Jones' mother stopped trying to convince him to stay home and accepted his decision to leave the state. Obviously anything like that should be taken with a grain of salt, but apparently the pros are convinced.

Hmmmm... you'd likely get better responses if you don't come in here and automatically eliminate over 75% of the recruiting followers here.

You may be Penn, we are LA.

And yeah, I'm a redneck.

Two days ago someone posted on twitter which is everyone bases but took it down within 24 hr. I still think he's 80-20 LSU based on him loving the LSU visit and Luke warm on his bama visit

No, didn't you hear? Saban gets anyone he wants. They backed off at the last minute, obviously.

This does hold some truth. Diarse was never a take for Bama when he decided. Beckwith was slowplayed most of the year. They didn't press until the end and by that time he had already begun to feel as though he wasn't a priority. We likely would have won on both anyway but the facts are the facts

No point getting your hopes up he's gone. We fd up letting Sims get away and now lost two amazing players. I think you sacrifice 1 player for those two huge mistake
