If he's waited this long to say whether or not he coming to LSU vs ALA its probably because hes going to ALA. Why else would he delay the date of his decision and wait? If he knew full heartedly that he was coming to LSU why wouldn't he just full out commit? He's doesn't seem like the kid who want to play the game and get the most out of 5 free visits

That's my thinking - it is possible that things have changed. Neville says the Bama visit was not as good as expected, and LSU was better - the fact he didn't commit at the LSU visit is certainly evidence he has been a Bama lean for a while (if not a silent commit) - certainly the conversations seem to have generated enough talk for Miles to fly up there Sunday.

Again, I don't want to be defeatist - if he can be convinced, Miles should try to convince him - we need safeties as bad as any position I can name.

It's mostly recruit tards who think saying the phrase 'he gone' is cool until they run it in the ground and find another one.

not a recruiting insider, but i'm a highly trained, skilled master of connecting dots. i get paid 'straight cash homie' to do just that.

my reading of the current tea leaves has him being back 'up in the air' with a slight lean to LSU.

LSU closes the deal this weekend.

And if he still decides to choose Bama then that's simply where the young man decides he wants to play. No knock on the job LSU did with him.

I simply think that hootie has figured he was going to school X but not 100% committed. Debate at the house and weighing his options didn't gel into a decision as fast as he thought it would. So his family all agrees there is NO REASON to rush into anything so why not sit on the decision and see if it still feels right a few weeks down the line. If it does then go with it. If not then it was smart to wait.

Sometimes you think you are almost to a decision and then stuff happens to swing you a bit away from where you THOUGHT you were headed.

I have never gotten the impression that Hootie was playing games like CROB was. If Hootie picks alabama I will have far less negative feeling about it than I did toward CROB.
