Okay well that clarifies it some. He's not from Louisiana then. Can't believe that playing and living in the state didn't influence him with LSU.

His family moved to the Shreveport area from Texas after his freshman year in high school. That ain't much time to "develop a love" for LSU.

Seems like north Louisiana has a problem with LSU more and more each year. Sucks but there has to be a reason for it all.

Seems to me that the Shreveport area has always been very pro LSU.

He was a Louisiana guy right?

HE grew up in Arizona. Family moved to Shreveport when he was Freshman in HS. His family sold out to the highest bidder more than once.

I know for a fact from a coach that coached him: His father was shopping him. The staff was sick of it and the man who told me this said that Shea was a good kid with a bad group around him, brother, and father.

I hope he does well at Michigan.

I'm done with this site. The people here are rude and arrogant. I'll root for and discuss my Tiger's football team elsewhere because this is a joke. This place is apparently for people in a clique, and if you aren't in it then you're disrespected and will get nothing but smartass answers.
While I agree that there are a lot of people on this board who are rude, immature, and take themselves and this site way too seriously, you really shouldn't let them affect you. There are SOME decent discussions, and a fair number of information tidbits that you get on here. Either ignore the tards or throw some shade back. Don't let anyone intimidate you. It's just a fan forum.

ETA: Also, it should be "our getting Shea Patterson" FWIW

No he didn’t. They’re originally from Toledo, Ohio, moved to Texas, then Shreveport and now Bay St Louis.

That’s understandable, but some of us did give you a valid answer. Did the, “ugh, we didn’t,” set you off? That shouldn’t have. And don’t let the downvotes hurt your feelings.

There are still some decent people and discussions around here, but I don’t blame you if you don’t want to put up with the rudeness. You have to have thick skin as a poster on here. In game threads are probably my favorite thing to post on. I still recommend that. Then again, there will always be threads on game day about the sky is falling early in games you have to just take the reactions in stride.

Geaux Tigers.

My sister and brother-in-law are both doctors in Shreveport and LSU alums. They have more money than they can spend in 3 lifetimes.

Perhaps I should have a talk with the BiL about helping out with recruiting. We need more bag men in parts of the state where rival schools pull as many top recruits as we do.
