The first 8 travel ball jokes weren’t funny
Dude, he said nothing about travel ball.
The sensitivity of travel ball daddys is fun. Its mostly watered down. Just a money grab at this point. Sadly, no options at the moment to stop it.

And you pussies that get all bent out of shape every time someone mentions youth baseball are funny as well..
The only point of my post was to point out that 7 other people made the lame, played out ‘brayyyydenn cayyyyden jayyyden’ joke and none of them were funny nor original.
It’s just time for a new schtick, that’s all.

She has been receiving letters to come to camps put on by different universities.
This is the part where the brainiacs tell everybody their boy is getting recruited by _____ school. Its a fund raiser. There are volunteer coaches on staffs and camps are a way to get them paid. SO , those invitations go out to lots of people.
But don't tell Rickee..... cuz his boy Donny is going places.

Sorry I hurt your feelings.
I for one am not bent out of shape. Just providing truth. Some don't like it.

He threw well but I can't believe his coach let him throw 102 pitches in the game. Seen way too many pitchers going over 100 pitches early in the season
Man, the HS baseball season is halfway over. If he was on good throwing program and its a good day, 100 isn't a problem.

What truth did you provide?

I was already getting looked at by the Atlanta Braves when I was coming out of T-ball and into pitching machine league. So take that for what it’s worth. If you are good enough they’ll find you at any age.

As long as there is adequate rest

Was in Alexandria today watching my nephew from Central play. Alexandria had a sophomore named Jack Lee throwing high 80s and good off speed. He had 10 strikeouts. Had me wondering if baseball is like football recruiting with kids at the freshman/sophomore age being heavily recruited.
Jack Lee committed to LSU tonight.

August before Junior year is when schools can directly call you and have face to face interactions. If you play on a good travel team that plays at the showcases that attract colleges and pro scouts then you will get invites to college camps long before your junior year bc if your good enough to play at the college level D1 schools will know who you are. You need to get a perfect game and prep baseball report profile which is baseballs version of ON3 for football recruiting. For example, my nephew plays for a top travel ball team out of Atlanta called East Cobb Astros Orange. Basically the entire team signs D1 or goes pro out of high school. Bottom line is go to camps before junior year and play on a team that plays in the tournaments that coaches actually go to.

All I know is the travel team my nephew plays on out of Atlanta has players from all over the country that fly in for showcase games. My brother will send pics of college coaches lined up at showcases like beach chairs in Destin. It's insane. If your a marginal player and want to play D2,NAIA, D3 or Juco then the rules for contact are different for D1. Some of these top Jucos would beat the hell out of lots of D1 teams

Can’t officially make contact with guys until august before their junior year. So 2027s can be evaluated but not talked to.
I’ll let you in on a secret and how it’s worked around. There’s a ton of college and pro scouts at the bigger summer ball events like PGI, PBR, etc. They invite them to their college camp and all are talked to.

That's a bold statement.
