He signed in the 2001 class and was supposed to be a big time strong safety but he never made it to school. Anyone remember him? Same class as Addai, Wilkerson, Clayton, Spears & Whit.

he made it, i think he didnt play as a freshman because of academics then went to juco. i think he might have even come back and got kicked off again. He and Tim Pope fricked it all up.

the LB cooper looked like a badass in pads, but pretty much sucked

Craig Davis came from OP Walker, the same year Darryl came out.

Craig Davis was skinny but was fearless in the middle.

I was very proud of the way he played.

BS...B. Williams did most certainly "..make it on campus.."

He fell apart...nuff said. There were issues and nuff said.

I don't think he is doing ANYTHING.

B. Williams was better than Norm LeJeune, Blue Gay and Tracy Porter. He was a hoss. I mean he had ALL the physical skills. He fell and God bless him.

He did go JUCO, etc. He just did not make it and he fell to the trapping of the streets....

He is the son of a preacher. The comment about his brother, Patrick, is true.

He'd call the talk shows; post; etc. IMO, he harmed Brandon. Brandon got off to a good start, grades k-11th...then things went wrong.

A friend of mine who was in Tim Pope's signing class told me the first day that freshmen reported they met with LSU's drug testing people. Tim raised his hand in front of coaches and players and asked if they tested for marijuana. They said yes, Tim paused for about 10 seconds and says "and we have to take the test today?"
He said he was an absolute freak. He would challenge the linemen in lifting and the RB and WR in races.

my cousin is retired assist. principal from port allen. she was still on the job then. she told me back then that williams would never fall in line w/academics, etc. she could not have been more right. saw him play a game at p.a. high one night, hell of an athlete. what ever happened to linebacker marvin jones? i think he signed with dinardo in 98 or 99. some thought he would be the 2nd coming of the FSU marvin jones.
