I’m not sure why everyone has Ika at 80%. I’m with you on Ika here.

Ish (brothers) 60% - agreed
Lee: 95% - agreed
Ika: 45% - disagree. 70% I think we are in the driver seat here
Raydar Jones: 90% - agreed
Christian williams: 60% - disagree. 25%
Pickens: 5% - agreed
Dean: 1% - disagree. 25% Dont think we get Dean but the odds are better than 1%
Keon Zipp: 1% - disagree. 20%

I am gonna go on the positive side and say we end up with:

Sopsher.
Sopsher Brother.
Ika.
Lee.
R Jones.

Puts us at 24 I believe. Leaving room for a flip or grad transfers.

Overall that would be a very impressive class.

Lee is 100% because he won’t get the Bama offer he desperately wants!

My take:

Ish (and brother) 60%
Lee: 95%
Ika: 85%
Raydar Jones: 90%
Christian williams: 30%
Pickens: 25%
Dean: 33.33%
Keon Zipp: 1%

Like Stewie, I have no inside information...just a hunch based off of +18 years of following recruiting (casual following for the past 10 however).

Ish: 75% mama and brother are too much to overcome.
Rodney: 75%
Lee: 90%
Ika: 55%
Rayar Jones: 90%
Christian Williams: 90%
Pickens: 25%
Dean: 25%

Unfortunately we lose Hampton to the MLB. Sign 19 this week end up by adding Ish, Rodney, Lee, Ika, Rayar and Williams for 25.

Signing Ish and Rodney will change the perception of LSU visa vie coach O in Amite. That is important. The barber will be ignored and Petito will be expendable by bama. That will sow the seeds of animus toward Saban/bama in Amite. I just think of the Ish/Rodney package as a long term investment and commitment to Louisiana kids.

Aranda thinks he did enough to get him, and has told the staff he feels good about it. I'd call it a coin flip we get him right now.

I agree with you ?? on the investment of future LA kids. We must keep our top Players in state. Coach O is doing a great job of doing so. The Sopsher brothers deal is vital to securing our boarders from the out of state poachers. Let’s make it happen! Geaux Tigers!!!

I'm putting Ish at 5%.

This is the classic Bama Louisiana pull and their people, who have a great track record of accurately calling these things, have put in their picks for Bama.

Not falling for this again.

Coin flip as in 50%?

Or 25% all the way around between LSU, UGA, Bama, and Ole Miss?

My UGA buddy who follows your side closely says they are confident in Dean and and Sanders. That would be huge for them.

I think Ole Miss is out of it for Dean now. Its an LSU, Bama, UGA battle, with Bama leading in my opinion.

I don't see OM in it. So I guess 33.3% would be more accurate here. That being said, gun to my head and I have to pick, I'd say UGA today. Don't know that for certain, but just gut feeling.

If I had to guess IMO Dean is making his decision on these criteria for each school. He sees bama as the place with the highest probability to win championships. He sees UGA as the institution with the best educational opportunities combined with athletic opportunities. Dean apparently hit it off exceptionally well with Aranda and loves the idea of being coached under him and the opportunities for fun and unique cultural educational experience at LSU.

A lot of people are really confident right now, and in large part because our insiders were correct on every single person last year, and this year so far as well.

I’m hopeful we’ll land Dean, but I guess we’ll have to wait a couple days to find out.

We don’t know that yet.

Communication between he and Bama has increased in the last several days. They are telling him they think they could have room.
