What about OT Johnny Mitchell of Stonewall, LA?

This is a new name that I searched for and did not notice before on this board. Mitchell is listed as 6-4, 265, from DeSoto HS in Stonewall. I did notice he is listed as both an offensive and defensive tackle.
Scott Long of Dandy Don reports that Mitchell won the Big Man Challenge at the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp, a recruiting combine, in New Orleans this weekend.
With so few OT prospects listed and such a need there, is Mitchell someone to consider?

If his footwork is there sign him up. Rather have a guy put weight on than have to lose it.

doesn't have great length for OT depending on arm length he is a guard. Short arms and that fast dude on the end will abuse you.

I coach at North DeSoto. The kid is an unbelievable athlete, and won state in both shot and discus last year. He's an old school country kid, and like most kids is more excited about Dline than Oline. He's in the 285 range for weight right now, but it's not sloppy at all. He's more of a road grader than true OT.

He is dominating Myron Warren in about 1/3 of that highlight video!! Very impressive.
Does LSU know about him? I'd try him at center if possible, otherwise guard.

He has good quickness, keeps his pad level low and has good drive on his blocks.

I like him as a DT or NG.

I don't see him on rivals? If he's in the 20 class he's not very liked because he's absent.
