What do we know fellas?

Pleasant 6'2" 185

Richard 6'0" 185

Seem's like they are heating up.

West Monroe usually has a few good OL/DL, lately last few years no skilled position players, I mean DBs, RBs, or QBs Sftys, they don’t dominate like they use to, they block a lot of punts, TOs, what I’m trying to say is they’re a well coached discipline team with not a bunch of superstars—- don’t get skilled position transfers anymore

Pleasant didn't look 6'2 but he had some sticky coverage.

But we did have the number one punter in the nation this last recruiting cycle. Our QB prospects all seem to get injured and ruin their trajectory

Rayshawn Pleasant was my favorite DB for the LSU 7v7 camp. Press coverage and aggressive. My family (Jhamal Shelby) couldn't participate he's coming back in like a week.

Is Jhamal hurt? Did he get measured at least?

I have pretty much lost all contact to any West Monroe football insiders or people in the know. That happens when you move out of state 16 years ago and all I know is the talent at WM isn't close to what it used to be.

Yeah. You should’ve stayed with your first statement. The sophomore and freshmen classes this year will have double digit D1 signees. The freshmen last year had 3 baseball players in the top 150 in their class in the nation. They all play football. There’s another 7-8 DUDES coming this year.

As far as Pleasant and Jadais, they’re legit. They will both play D1. I can’t tell you if it will be at LSU as LSU typically gets the top guys in the nation. They both can play and will be starters on Saturdays very soon.

Pleasant’s sophomore highlights

Richard sophomore highlights

Pleasant didn’t play last year with a knee injury. I’m not sure if he played basketball. Richard definitely played basketball.

That is good to hear. Hard to keep up with it being 1000 miles away.

WM may have some legit talent coming up in the 9th and 10th grade, but no one can argue the last 5-7 years have been down by their standards. I remember the days where they were a factory constantly sending kids to LSU. The last two highly rated kids have both bolted for Bama.

Except for the #1 punter in the nation that signed with LSU…6 months ago…Josh Pearson signed with LSU in baseball this year as well. Fingers crossed I really hope and think he makes it to campus. Would love to watch him play the next 3 years.
