This will never happen again where we have three studs at the quarterback position at LSU. I’m still amazed that we had Jamarcus Russell, Matt Flynn, and Ryan Perilloux on the same team for the 2005 and 2006 season.

If we get Dante Moore, Walker Howard will transfer if he is not the guy in a few years. If Howard wins, Moore will eventually transfer out. The quarterback position will work itself out.

Kids look so much younger in college now. Look like grown arse men back in the day fresh out of high school.

Sorry. disagree. two of them were garbage. only one won a championship. if he would have stated two years, we would have won back-to-back titles.

What?

Jamarcus was an incredible college QB.

At the end of the 2006 season, following the Sugar Bowl, LSU was arguably the best team in the country.

That team would’ve wrecked shite in a playoff.

You’re an idiot if you think Jamarcus Russel was garbage. Les miles ruined that 2006 season not Russel. And don’t forget Flynn’s 2007 team also had 2 losses just like 2006 and needed every single break to go their way to get into the title game.

One for sure. The other... had a horrible work ethic and unfortunately, pretty typical of some athletes when they get significantly overpaid.

It wasn't all that long before that we had Booty, Nall and Davey on the same team (at least 1 year).

He's an idiot to think Ryan Perrilloux was "garbage", much less JR.

Did JR and Ryan Perrilloux both fail to live up to their potential and sky high expectations placed upon them? Certainly. "Garbage"? Jamarcus, especially. Had JR played on the 2007 team, he would probably be considered the consensus 2nd greatest QB in LSU history. As it is, he's definitely in the conversation for Top 5.

2016 Ohio State QB room included Dwayne Haskins, J.T. Barrett and Joe Burrow.

This hurts my brain. The ignorance is downright staggering.

One you're saying is garbage was the best of them all and the one you're saying is the good one likely was the worst of them all if all you could do was watch them throw. Perilloux was the most purely gifted of the 3. It's almost like hard work beats talent. Who would've thought that?

And only 1 of those Ohio St. Qbs turned out to be a good NFL qb...Barrett converted to a WR, Haskins was a backup, who wound up dead because he was drunk and on pills walking in the middle of the interstate, and u know Burrow is the real deal

None were garbage.

FTR, Perrillouz was the QB when we won the SEC CG in '07, not Flynn. Flynn QB'd in the national championship. So both won championships. JaMarcus was the #1 overall draft pick. Not garbage.

Three great QBs.

Remember thinking it was the Pinnacle of LSU football driving home from the game too.

The 06 team should have been a one loss team. We got screwed at Auburn.
