A liberal must have put that graph together. It doesn't get much more misleading than that.

How any site doesn’t have Will Campbell as a five star is beyond me.

Howard is a slam dunk five star too. IMO

It’s not misleading at all if you look at it knowing there is way less 5 stars. If you are a unanimous 5 star you have like a 50% chance of being drafted. It was just showing that if you evaluate our instate talent which is loaded with players graded 3 stars and above and you matchup 3-4 5stars with a class loaded with 3-4 star recruits you can be successful.Cause we aren’t buying 8-9 5 stars like A&M did this year. Now with the portal those 3 stars that went elsewhere and ended up being badass you can get them also

By far too - a team with 5 and 4 stars and a handful of 3 stars is more likely than not going to consistently beat teams with 3 stars and a handful of 4 and 5 stars.

Yeah, I get it and was able to understand the graph. I was just pointing out that for someone not aware in the different number of 3, 4, and 5-stars, it can create confusion that 5-stars pan out infrequently.

I'm in the camp that recognizes that the number of 3-stars that turn out to be badass pales in comparison to the number of 3-stars to amount to nothing. We need to focus on the 4-stars that may not cost as much as the 5-stars, but are much more likely to provide good results on the field than the 3-stars. If LSU locked up every in-state 4-star each year, we would always be bad arse.

Yeah it’s called Bama but we have to keep them from coming into LA and poaching the 4 star talent. We sign out 3-4 5stars a year and keep all the in state talent in LA and we can beat anybody we don’t have A&M money so if you not gonna spend millions like them for recruiting classes you best nail your player evaluations and keep all our talent in state.I think we will do that,if they can salvage this Ed O shite show in a matter of months we will be fine in recruiting just don’t expect us to sign 8-10 5 stars and spend millions doing it

Exactly that’s my point our state is loaded with 4 star talent quite often we have to keep them in state and we need great evaluation of our in state talent because kids like Justin Jefferson exist.I think some of our talent gets over shadowed because there is so much talent in the south LA area it’s hard to follow them all.Frank Wilson will get it done though I have faith

One could argue that Emory Jones is 5* worthy as well. We have to trust our staff over putting all of our worth in paid recruiting services.
For perspective - the video I saw of EJ was the Camp that Kelvin Banks looked like shite.
Watched each of the matchups over and over. Jones was the best OL I saw that day.

Anybody know a link or two to other Camps?

Yeah it’s complete bull crap that they dropped Howard and Campbell and put up Anderson for Bama.

Don't tell that to Josh Pate! The bama bump is conspiracy nonsense!

One, this is stupid fan talk. The best teams tend to be the teams at the top of the rankings on those recruiting services.

Two, our staff is recruiting all the top players on those recruiting services and taking commitments going down the rankings line of any player who chooses LSU, just like every other school.

LSU boosters are already paying for $30 million of coaching mistakes between Miles and Ogre too

Exactly why it’s hard to dish out even more.Coach O screwed us.I mean composite wise we have the 6th ranked class factoring transfers. The future is bright I think but I don’t expect us to sign 8 5stars but we will get our fair share and hopefully keep kids in state

I really believe all four are legit 5 stars too. If Wiggins had committed to Bama I can almost guarantee he would have been a 5 star.

LSU's team in 2023 is stacking up to be a monster. Junior elite WRs everywhere, Walker Howard starting, experienced OL, loaded experienced DL, LB group, and safety group. Corner could be a weak link, but it could also surprise. If we can get one RB to become a stud heading into 2023 and a TE to become serviceable, we are going to be a really freaking dangerous team.

Emery Jones totally destroyed everybody he went against at practice all week for one of those after season all star games. How much did he rise in the final rankings?
