No he didn't, he's one of the creators of TexAgs more than likely so he has to defend his site. Link, he's one of the big time Kool-Aid drinkers and thinks A&M pisses gold

If you really think that site is legit, your opinion really doesn't matter Dinardo. You're probably the one that tells them about what gets posted over here. When A&M actually wins a game anytime soon against the SEC, I MIGHT actually acknowledge what you say

In other news - does anyone sincerely believe that Miles was recruiting Bourque as a wide receiver because he thought that's what Bourque wanted? The dude is a beast running back ... why the hell would he want to switch to WR?

Link to video or audio?

Not saying it's impossible Bourque said that, but I can just as easily post:

"He wants me as a wide receiver, but I want to play running back."
Devante Bourque January 15, 2011

Obviously Bourque didn't want to play WR at LSU or he would've committed back then. It's possible playing elsewhere is fine by him.

Also - let it be known I'm not saying it's impossible for Bourque to change his mind about coming to A&M - that's entirely possible, my point is that if I were Bourque I would not sincerely believe that I'm Miles' #1 running back recruit, and that he's not going to take any other running backs in this class if I were to commit. You don't offer your #1 running back recruit at WR, then turn up the heat when he commits elsewhere, and then weeks later recruit him at his natural position. That's straight up reactionary.

It was a quote in a Scout article on that date. His dad is the one that made playing RB a big deal. Read the articles, check the quotes.

The delusion on this site isn't any better
TD is delusional as frick, nobody is denying it at all. i'd venture to say that some of our fans are dumber than a fricking box of rocks.

that said, the delusion on texags, or any other aggie website has no rival. to say that other schools are handing out $100 handshakes and playing dirty while your school relies solely on an 'Aggie Code' to recruit is down right hysterical.

Egg, if you want true delusion go to a Baylor fanboard. Then tell me we don't have a rival in that department!

The "force" is strong with this one. He swallowed the A&M hack's bait hook, line and sinker.

You guys need to learn to think for yourselves or at least get some posters who aren't on the payroll;
This boards thread on Louis' commitment

quote:

according to the Shea Dixon's tweet! according to the Shea Dixon's tweet!

Lamar Louis has given #LSU his verbal commitment. More to come at TigerSportsDigest.com

What is he? Another LB?

LB from Teurlings Catholic. He is an outstanding athlete with a very high ceiling. Only problem with him is that when he sets foot on LSU's campus, he will have not played football for two years. No doubt he is staying in great shape, judging from what he is doing at combines. I am extremely happy that LSU picked him up. He has been through a rough patch and I'm glad things are working out for him.

Any tape on Louis? Seems like a LB commit but cant judge the talent without tape.

All I know is this kid is built like a fricking freight train

wow, that must be a tough situation for him. He must be pretty good for LSU to offer and accept his verbal even with him sitting out for two years, nonetheless good pick-up, seems like a good fit for that LB spot

I hope they use him on the offensive side too. Hard to bring down the times I watched him play.

Kid looks like he could play rb at a lotta schools. It puts a smile on my face just thinking about ultra athletic linebackers donning the purple and gold

Future fullback book it

Future fullback book it
--------------------------------------------------Not a chance!

I inclued the posts where people mentioned him as a running back.

Someting that Big XII and other college coaches are learnig is the fact that the SEC uses better athletes on defense than any other conference.

I think Coach Boom mentioned it when he got to Florida and I know Chip Kelly mentioned it when he was scouting Auburn.

We all know he won the RB MVP at a Houston camp. He beat out your boy Trey Williams there and might have been a great running back in the Big XII.

We all apologize for losing control of one of our village idiots but you are the one that must have believed his story.

Sounds like Bourque's dad was starting to belive some kind of story too. Glad he was briefed and has a more enlightened view of what was really going on.

He will be a great linebacker at LSU and yes you will continue to get our in-state scraps.

I think we can all agree, most who follow this niche recruiting board know that each fan base is a little delusional. But hell, who isn't? that's the fun of it.

And imo you are incorrect in assuming his "natural position" is RB just because thats where his dad wants him to play and where you offered him to begin with...which was most likely done because that's what they wanted to hear. Are you certain he won't move to WR at A&M? What do you see from him that stands out as being a great RB?

I'm not a collegiate coach, but when a kid grows up playing running back, experiences the success he has and puts up the #s he has, and then Mike Sherman and now Les Miles offer him at running back I defer to their expertise.

In RE: to "Are you certain he won't move to WR at A&M?" - no one knows what the future holds. What I do know is that A&M is looking for a bigger back to complement Trey Williams. Bourque fits into A&M's plan, hence Sherman recruiting him as one right from the start.

Nothing really "natural" about a 6'3 200 pounder playing RB. That's a big WR mold period. Sure, there are some tall RBs that have been successful, most recently Knile Davis at Arkansas...but they are few and far between. Most likely Bourque will end up at WR than RB.

What's makes you better at projecting positions than Les and Sherman who both want him as a RB?

I had respect for aTm before we played them last year. We were in the endzone "mixed" section. We were sitting by some of the Aggie players families. The Aggie fans were so obnoxious and ghey that even some of their players families members were making fun of them. Aggie can't seem to grasp that they are third best (sometimes second) best team in Texas.

History. Face it, 6'3 200 pounds is NOTHING "natural" about a RB. That's a mold of a WR all day long. Plenty of players switch positions from what they were offered in high school once in college, so what they are offered for now means nothing.

Ags love our big backs. Jorvorskie Lane played close to 300lbs and was our all-time TD leader.

To some. What I'm saying is that Bourque should be able to see through that.
