A tackle
A safety
Another tight end

Possibly a big running back as well due to the uncertainty of Holly and Jackson but I completely agree on what lsubub12 wrote down below for emphasis!

That's all I would take. Hopefully Spears can take a Safety spot, Treydez can improve as a blocker at TE, and the other Tackle spot can be filled by Tyree or Davis.

Toviano is now a safety and should have always been one.

Agreed, but need one more. Although the guy from Vtech is versatile, maybe they will play him some at safety. He started his career as a safety. If we don’t take one, that’s probably what’s happening.

And I would like a RB that’s about 230-240lb between the tackles bruiser

To further elaborate.
A starting caliber experienced tackle, right or left.
A starting caliber, experienced safety, possibly 2.
Another te, preferably one with multi years left.
I agree on a rb bc Kaleb could still portal and Holly’s future is unknown.

Gotta assume we’ll have more dudes jump in after bowl game.

Need more than three.

I don’t know why some of you are trying to put a cap on the number of transfer players we bring in

I’m fine with Toviano and Spears, especially based on how good I expect our Front 7 and boundaries to be. However, no depth at Safety so would be nice to add a stud upper class men.

Not trying to cap it but with todays announcements we are at 13 players and BK mentioned roughly 15 up from 12 before the portal opened.

also, word is we are going after a Safety on a team in the playoffs. No idea who but that’s what insiders were saying and BK just said someone on the back end and then mentioned how playoff teams still have guys who may enter the portal… he seemed to be pausing on his words there to make sure he didn’t say anything out of line.

I would prefer 5 more:
OT
T/G someone willing and able to play either
S x 2
TE that is solid blocker

The window to enter after the bowl game is small. They would probably have to wait to the spring.

I like what we got on the OL after we add the guy from Northwestern. I think Curne can start at RT as a freshman and same with Solomon Thomas at one of the guard spots.

Is Curne projected to be a tackle or guard? I always thought we saw him as a guard

He’s Extremely athletic, so he can def play tackle. I think we like the Northwestern OL more at guard, and we still have Mubenga, Chester, and now Thomas on the interior with Moore locked in at center. So I think OT would make more sense imo.
