Watching the Arkansas game tonight, I kept seeing holes opened and the running back to slow to hit the hole. Also saw the edge blocked and the running back to slow to run around the open end. Any running back watching the game saw himself running wild. This would be a different team with a couple of great backs.

I don’t understand why they wouldn’t give provens a shot on plays line that. Isn’t he really quick? I looks at his 247 profile but it doesn’t show his 40 time.

Too bad it's next year but... Davis, Emery & Cain.

They hit the hole slow and tentatively. Just not very impressive at all.

So to be plain..we need Davis, Emory and Cain or at least two out of those three. It is going to be tough and at one time it looked not likely but it is trending to be a distinct possibility:)> Replacing any one of the above with Sanders is far less likely but not mathematically impossible. I mean it is recruiting, anything can happen.

Emery needs to get to campus in January so he can have a complete grasp of the playbook. He is the game changer we are sorely lacking on offense.

Yeah, the Tigers should have had 250 yards rushing tonight or more. RB's are slow to the hole, little acceleration and can't do much when they reach the second line of defense.

Really need someone with a burst.

Yep, saw that also. Our backs are dancing too much.

We need at least 2 elite RB’s. 3 would be better. Our RB’s are very average.

I agree with all of you but I am also interested in being a better OL next season....That would help the overall offense game plan...But I am also very satisfied being 8-2 at this point...Most people predicted...5-5, 6-4 right now...

Agree...We need two fast players... Seems like we can't break a short pass or special teams play for a long TD.

yeah, it seems for once almost all of us here saw the same thing. And many times Brossette bounced it out when he shouldn't have, and isn't fast enough for that.

I wanted to see Curry frankly. Those were some pretty good holes that many backs would've been banging heads with LBs for 6 or 7 yds easy.

That would be a feast for Davis. And Emery would've destroyed it.

Side Note: Hines and Cush were destroying Greenlaw and Pool. Gotta give those guys credit here, if even the recruiting board.

Agree. I appreciate Brossette and Helaire. Particularly glad for Brossette that he’s had a good senior year. That being said, neither are close to elite. Not impressed with Hellaire at all. He seems indecisive and dances at the line a bit too much. Neither have any speed at all.

Yes indeed. Alabama and Georgia are far superior at running back.

100%.

The backs we have now are a half a step too slow. The holes are there...our backs just don’t have the quickness to get through.
