Memphis got a big silent commit from a forward earlier today. Duke has backed off after they heard our rumblings. Announcement may come sooner than we know

He’s saying a different forward silently committed and that duke has backed off Watford...basically its looking good for us to get Watford with Precious comitting to Memphis Watford probably won’t go Memphis

It appears the only thing that can derail Watford to LSU is that 4/22 court date.

It’s almost certatintley Precious. Quinones needs to come to LSU over Memphis. Wade needs to tell Quinones “Look man just out of your class Wiseman, Precious, and Jefferies will be ahead of you as far as scoring options go.” They also have Damian Baugh too in this class. This isn’t even mentioning the fact that R.J. Hampton in the 2020 class is considering reclassification and he’s trending hard towards Memphis. I definitely would be pushing that angle to Quinones about a better opportunity at LSU right now.

Duke is going to get Matthew Hurt who is the same position as Watford and rated higher. That’s why they haven’t offered yet. Watford is their backup plan.

Actually, Duke wanted Watford more. Tried to get him to commit multiple times this past month but he wanted to see what happened with the General. Just cause Hurt is ranked higher doesn’t mean everything

If Wade manages to still land Quinones and Watford after the entire debacle he’s truly the GOAT. Hell even landing Watford is massive. I definitely think we can replace Reid with Watford and get a transfer big man for Williams. We may not have Tremont, but I think we could run a legitimate 10-11 players next year instead of 8, so we should be deeper. Definitely a top tier SEC team again capable to make a big tourney run.

We still trail for Q. Rumor is he may have already silented to Memphis but Wade doesn’t care he’s gonna try till the bitter end. Watford will be our best scorer in awhile. He should average 18-22 ppg. We are looking at some big man transfers. Gonna be hard to repeat last year’s success but Wade will have these guys ready again. Definitely a top 6 seed in the big dance imo

Would we still try and land Tyreek Smith if we get Watford? I feel like he is a redshirt type player. Long and athletic but needs to put some weight on and polish his game.

Duke hasn’t even offered Watford and has Hurt ahead of him on their board.
