Why don't you go with him?

We aren’t privy to what is being offered by LSU or other teams.

Hypothetically for example, If an in state lineman is being offered $100,000 from LSU but they want to go to A&M or Texas for $150,000. It tells me they are insanely short sighted to forgo a way better opportunity and better place to develop for $50,000…. But if A&M and Texas are willing to pay 3 or 5x as much as LSU, then I can’t fault the kids for that. Depends on the circumstances and offers.

I can't, and I want, but there are ways to do it. Make it known that you want to go out of state and don't have LSU waste time on recruiting you, and you're solid by me. Don't plan on coming back to Louisiana looking for work after college, though.

There are a lot of kids wanting to get in Louisiana, like Dylan Crews and Paul Skenes, Jayden Daniels, Logan Diggs, Paris Shand, Jordan Jefferson, etc.

Depends on what they are going to do. College football is one of the things Louisiana can be the place to be

It's true, but at the same time, it is your last opportunity to put down roots somewhere else of your choosing, especially if you're eyeing the NFL.

I remember getting downvoted repeatedly for saying there was no way he would end up signing on the dotted line for UF. The Napier lovers didn’t like that at all, but here we are and it’s going to play out exactly as some of us predicted.

It's simple, but you don't seem to grasp it. It's not like the best school here is Louisiana Tech. LSU produces as much NFL talent, elite NFL talent, as anyone else in the country. When kids leave for 100k and then do almost nothing in college and get drafted in late rounds or not at all, it really shows the lack of forward thinking by them and their parents. It's a small minded mentality that I see far too often with people.

However, it is their life and life is all about figuring out your own way.

What makes you think they will develope better at LSU or that their after college prospects are better in Louisiana than in Texas?
