Some kids just want to go out of state. It's nothing a coach or LSU can do if that's the case. All we can do is wish them the best.

While you hate to lose a good player to an SEC rival, I never worry about LSU finding good DBs. Even in just Louisiana alone.
Raymond still has his tenure leading DBU to sell to LA kids and Florida/Napier are desperate. Last season for them went far worse than expected and there is not a lot of optimism heading into this season. The only thing Napier has to sell to the fanbase/program right now is hope for the future through recruiting. He HAS to have a great class because unless the unexpected happens this season, Florida may be WORSE than last year.

Nobody LET him leave. The kid chose to leave. That's his decision. What happens between here and ESD is also his decision. Whether he ends up choosing UF or LSU or somewhere else on ESD, be respectful, wish him luck and move on.

And that's all fair but Raymond's track record on recruits really took a hit on his way out of LSU.
I was just looking at Raymond's profile on 247 and like 4-5 of his top recruits never stuck at LSU.

It's whatever.
The bigger issue here is if Billy boy becomes an actual problem for us in pulling LA kids.
