By all accounts, he’s going to A&M. He had a good relationship with Jimbo at FSU.

He also wasn’t very good and lost his job to a 3* at TN. He’s a bigger project than his HS rating would suggest. That said, I think LSU should have gone after him and developed him

What’s worse?

Not pursuing the 5* tackle

Or

Pursuing him but he doesn’t even want to look at you and would prefer A&M or USC?

I’m gonna laugh my arse off when A&M lands Morris and Moko

O is gonna frick around and let Cregg cost him his job.

You can’t keep bleeding at Oline like this.

This guy was worth fighting for with the depth of our OL still a concern!

He was a 5* tackle two years ago. He started as a freshman at UT because he was a 5*. He hasn't progressed. He started only have of UT's games this year. They even tried him at RT.

He's a decent player, but it's doubtful he'd start for LSU. A quality reserve sure, but he's not today the 5* he was two years ago.

So maybe you find something else to bitch and moan about today.

He's got 3 years to play 3 and he was very good as a Freshman. I think there were some injuries this year, too, which explains some issues.

So some random name is now a "lost" recruit. There are over 1000 players in the transfer portal.

Morris is likely a big reason why the NCAA is circling the waters at UT. No fricking thanks. That’s the last thing in the world we need while trying to close an investigation of our own.

Plus we are trying to land Will Campbell right now and have Dillinger already on board. He commits soon and should be the staff’s top focus right now. If they go after this fool, who we don’t have an existing relationship with and who has a year less to play, it could cause issues landing Campbell, who is definitely more important being a rare in-state top O Line recruit. The future is more important.

I think our entire OL returning probably pushed potential portal transfers to look at other schools. It is what it is.

He's come to the end of the road at Tennessee.

That's bargaining right there. Wild speculation at best.

Not really. A lot of UT fans believe his recruitment was part of it, along with the other OT they landed in that same class. I don’t know where that smoke comes from, but it’s out there.

The main reason I don’t give a shite is because Campbell needs to be priority 1-10 right now until he’s committed to LSU. Period. An in-state OL prospect of his ranking is a must-get. Morris would be nothing but a distraction from that.
