Althought it is not impossible for a true frosh to start on the OL, it is very difficult. Sure, Smith did it at Bama a few years back. If Collins can achieve this, it is great, but even if he can't, he can still have an outstanding career and become one of the best OL ever at LSU. So we should try not to expect too much too soon and realize his time is coming, even if it's not this season.

I agree. I think the kid from slidell is going to be great. I think LC probly has a better chance of beating out Alex Hurst. But its going to be hard for LC to win a starting job this year.but he will be all SEC in a year or two
