James Stone also started for Tenn this year as a true freshman. Collins is better than most the OL we have on our roster. Yes they have experience, but that is all they have on him. This is not some kind of "recruit fantasyland" like you are trying to make it out to be. Collins is good enough to start next year for practically every team is the country. He would be one of the top DT prospects in the country if he chose to play there. His combination of athleticism and size is rare and makes up for his lack of college experience.

Collins at LT
Faulk at RT
Lonergan at C
Hurst at RG
Josh D. at LG
and Blackwell as a utility player

is our strongest lineup next year.

Shaw and Washington add depth at tackle, while Williford and Branch add depth at guard.

I thought Washington was a guard. Shaw played out of his mind when he subbed in against Bama, but was not very good in any other game he played in.

Once this '11 and supposed '12 class (Riser, Nacho, Vadal, Humphries, Edinburgh) come in, our o-line will be massive and just plain nasty

Vadal and Nacho are guys that could be 3-4 year starters as well. I am not familiar enough with the other guys you listed for '12.

The OL will be the strength of the team is the coming years. Two years ago we had tons of youth and poor senior talent (Black played like crap most of the year and Hitt shouldn't have been on the field). Now, the youth is at least older and have played together for longer and the young guys are really talented.

Riser is a former teammate of Washington, and probably the top G of the 12 class. Top 5 player in Texas. He has stated LSU is his leader, and with Washington we have the inside track, but Texas does have alot of desoto kids.

Humphries is possibly the top OT, and number 1 player in NC. He has LSU as his leader atm .

could change though

This, the only reason La'el would be starting is if we didn't really have great depth at OL and/or he was just that good. I wouldn't mind redshirting him and having him for 5 years.

Riser is coming to our Junior day over the supposed huge Texas weekend, so that should say something

I think the only question mark next year is Humphries

So we are in line to land at the minimum 3 of the top 10 OL in the entire country next year?

Well who gives a f*ck? As far as i'm concerned a guy who works at a burger joint has just as much input at football as you do. I'm an engineer and an LSU fan too, does that give me a right to come on here and chastise other people who think he will start next year? Hell no! And I don't think he will start, but i'm not saying he absolutely can't. Hell after the way our OLine played for most of the year i'd say at the very least he gets a shot.

Well well well, look at that long tail you got there........

Look here, Spudly, I know more than you. And, the fact that I have not only played college football (OFFENSIVE LINE), but have the intellect to be a professional engineer and, furthermore, a high earning one that bosses nerds only solidifies the fact that I am even more CREDIBLE.

Now, unless you have actually evaluated college talent for a major university or for an NFL program (not your fricking uncle/cousin/brother/etc.), GFY.

Thanks go out to Max for Joxying this shite for me.

I'm sure there's a little something going on the OT for the bump here.
