He’s probably about as good as lacy. Lacy will do a lot of work on his hands in the off season and will be our number 1 if he does get better hands .
It's always possible but he didn't really seem to improve from last year to this.
I hold my breath every time they throw him the ball.
Forget 10,000, that dude needs the summer of 20,000 catches.

Even when lacy catches the ball he bobbles it.
Sheppard is very sure handed.

Is he Georgia bound? Rumors

That was a different Vanderbilt receiver.

Not too many people have noticed, but Hilton has become a stud. I expect him to be WR1 next year, and a good one.

Lacy would have a distinct advantage of being in the offensive system 3 years, however
But speed and contested catches is not really close. Advantage Shep
Contested catches? I doubt anyone in college football next season has an advantage over Lacy. That is a big, strong, impressive receiver. Elusiveness is something he could be better at, and certainly he has to improve his concentration.

Cant be serious with this? Lacy is actually a very good athlete, has pretty good footwork but his ball skills and hands are lacking. Can be improved on but he's had several years to do so. Sheppard is a big target with sure hands who also is very fast and can get behind DBs. In terms of who could be next years WR1, Sheppard is more of a sure thing.

What? When did that happen?!?
Last sighting of him was CBK yelling at him to focus because he dropped the ball

Lacy catches everything in practice. It's a mental thing for him.

I don't think his hands are lacking at all. Drops are not usually due to poor hands but to poor concentration. Lacy looks to have very good hands to me. His problem is concentration - dropping some balls that he could very easily catch.

His best trait is running after the catch
His YAC per reception was higher than Nabers (7.8 bs 6.7).

Yeah he fights like hell for extra yardage. He blocks too. Every time he makes a drop posters say he should never see the field again but I definitely see why the staff keeps giving him second chances. Playing hard earns you second chances and KL plays hard.
