What is to lose? I’m no expert on the kid but assuming his character is good then taking a 5 star LB to assist an area which we were atrocious in this year is a good thing and it would also take a 5 star LB from other top schools.

I’m not really worried about LB. Bugg Strong is going to put a lot of people’s concerns to rest next year. That kid can absolutely play ball and he will start day 1 next year at MLB.

Unless there is some connection, or he is considering LSU, throwing out every random player in the portal seems unreasonable.

This guy is a stud. Crazy good athlete for somebody 6’2 250 he can run and he’s a thumper. Is an excellent blitzer and downhill player. He was playing out of position some at USC his last year and being used more playing backwards instead of forward and he struggled some in that position. Needs to clean up tackling technique because he leads with his head a lot and has caused a couple of head injuries to himself but he’s a really good player and an NFL prospect.

How confident is the staff with Davis? If it's looking like he's out, this isn't a bad backup plan.
