Lol tell that to Art Briles.

Art was covering up and keeping an arrest from being made. Big difference in that and knowing about someone already having been arrested.

Doubt it. Fire the guy for being “arrested for a crime” and then when he’s found innocent he brings a wrongful termination lawsuit against your arse so fast (and he should) it will make you shite yourself.

You're missing the entire point. I'm not saying he should have fired him in 2015. I'm saying he should have reported it to the AD and let them handle it. From all accounts it looks like Urban didn't report it to anyone, and that may be what gets him in trouble.

Wait, what? Are you suggesting that OSU players would transfer to play for a coach with a history of domestic violence?

Yes. Just as their friend Joe did.

Do y'all think if Urban is in fact fired, they will come calling for Orgeron? Or do you think us LSU fans don't have to worry about our coach being poached? :)

"In college his [Aaron Hernandez] coach (then-University of Florida head coach Urban Meyer) may have helped cover up failed drug tests, along with two violent incidents — an assault and a drive-by shootout outside a local bar."

Only Urban will terminate Urban. Ohio State has known about this since day one and it has been business as usual.

I'm just not afraid to admit I might be wrong if someone brings up a good point. I just not ignorant.

I've yet to research the damage (if any).

You might be seeing a lot of heat from this story especially since you are responding to 3 hours after I first saw the OP and responded.

Not beating your wife or supporting those that do doesn't qualify as "overly politically correct culture"

We're not debating if it's wrong. We're debating if he could be fired for it.

I don't think anyone is saying it isn't wrong.

Yeah I just read about it. This will have no effect on Meyer's tenure. It's hardly news worthy.
