Theirs. I only have 1 contact at LSU and we don’t discuss anything other than camp schedules, coaches clinics, and the occasional “great win geaux Tigers” text

If true, then I'm guessing it's this bylaw that was posted in another thread.

d. Letter-of-Intent Signing.
You are not eligible if a staff member of your institution was present while you were signing, at an off-campus site, a National Letter of Intent or an acceptance of a financial aid offer from your institution or your conference.[Bylaw 13.1.5.7]
Nm, don't follow close enough. I see that other USCe recruits signed without issue.

Tj and I don’t really talk about those things. We usually spend more time talking about fishing and stuff like that. He had a great Senior Bowl week though. Good kid that will have a great career on Sunday’s.

Yeah but 2 other kids were also at that event with Boom present and they sent in their LOIs without issue.

I bet Muschamp being at the signing is the issue. If this is true.
Alex Huntley was also there. Do they not have Alex Huntley’s LOI then? (They do).

If the issue was simply procedural and Burch/Mom have never waivered from South Carolina, then this would already have been everywhere. There is no sense in letting their own fanbase + the media spiral out of control for a minor procedural error that would ultimately produce the same result.

"Columbia (S.C.) Hammond five-star defensive end Jordan Burch reaffirmed his plan to sign with South Carolina yesterday at his school's ceremony. Following the event, the 6-foot-5, 275 pounder signed his national letter of intent with South Carolina, but it was not faxed over to the university. I am told Burch is 100 percent sure of his decision and fully plans to attend South Carolina. However, his mother has not given her permission for the NLI to be sent over to the Gamecocks. It is unclear if or when she will grant that permission. I am also told his mom is on board with him attending South Carolina, so her reason for not allowing the letter to be sent is unclear. I will continue tracking this as best I can throughout the day and going forward, if needed."

I told y’all how mom was in LSU’s corner and wants him here

Latest update from the Carolina end: PPW has been signed and he will be a Gamecock as expected. The hold up is simply some minor hiccup that needs to be cleared with the NCAA, and is expected to be cleared by Friday. I do not know what the issue is, and this info is coming from a staff member. Just passing along what I was told. Like I have said I fully expect him to be a Gamecock unfortunately. Not sure if this is some sort of delay tactic or misinformation. Not sure what the purpose of that would be. But straight from Inside the building
Sorry man, but I’m not buying that. The lack of transparency from both Burch and SC is very telling. We’ve had many signees get hung up by NCAA clearinghouse, and as far as I know it has never prevented a recruit from faxing an LOI, or from the school announcing his LOI. And when there are ncaa issues, the media is always notified. Burch’s camp knows there is speculation about his status, and all they have to do is send a tweet, text a reporter, anything to clear the air, and they haven’t done that.

As far as being in Alabama...Coaches move all the time. That was 2 years ago. But I do understand that question. Y’all don’t have to believe me. I get it.
So in two years you’ve gone from asking tigerdroppings for help in the recruiting process of a first round qb prospect to being an insider with sources at multiple sec schools? Makes sense.

There no such thing as a “minor hiccup” with the NCAA.
Burch was still answering the phone from LSU this morning, so...

Exactly, and if there was, the kid would be withheld from competition, not from sending in an LOI.

I asked if anyone knew anyone at LSU to take a look at Quad, Bc I didn’t have much luck trying to get TJs film looked at.
And yes. I have several professional colleagues at the FBS, FCS, D2, D3 level to answer your question candidly.
That’s doesn’t make me an insider. I don’t claim to be an insider. I’m a professional working in College Football. Nothing more or less. Just simply passed along what I was told.

Sounds to me the only paper work we are waiting on is Mom's promotion at the University of South Carolina? If they don't come through with her new job position and raise then she will go to LSU for that same position.
Posted on 2/6/20 at 1:11 pm to CoachJG45
Why would someone inside usc’s program spend time today discussing this back and forth with you of all people? Seems like they would have some pretty important stuff to deal with at the moment.
I’ll agree to disagree there.

This entire recruitment is fishy. There's so many sources around there reporting different stuff. It makes me think they're using LSU as leverage to get what they want since USCe is desperate and LSU is the hot ticket on top of the world university you can easily leverage against desperation.
It almost sounds like stuff mentioned in the OP is to combat that leverage by applying local pressure on them where if he signs with LSU she will be in a bad position locally. I think LSU is getting played and needs to get out before this gets too hot.

The first part of your post could be possible but does not seem likely. The end of your post is one of the worst takes I have seen since this whole thing started.
