Just because he wants to play there doesn't mean he will. By all means, if he performs better than Will, play him there. I don't think Will is just going to move over, the kid has an edge about him and Heard will have to take it from him. No matter what, the line will be stacked.

I agree. He is better than Will but Will will have to play himself out of that spot more than likely.

He is, but it’s not Will’s fault. Heard just had genetics on his side

Frazier or Bradford

People shite on them, but take one of these two and Turner and that’s a solid combo with experience to come off the bench (assuming they don’t bail on the portal).

I don’t remember hearing if Shorts has a sixth year, and if so, whether he is coming back for 2023. That would be another guy with some snaps coming back to solidify the bench.

You’ll see. But will you man up and admit to it?

I love the confidence I hear in Heard talking about playing LT when he shows up but I feel some competitive smack talk between pals with him and Will probably too reading between the lines. But hey, let'em fight it out on the field and at least we have a solid line for a long time coming.

A 15 game college football schedule of data.

Your history with your prospect analyzation doesn’t lend credence to you being the best evaluator of skill set.

Heard being mentioned at the best OL during practices this week

quote:

5. OT Zalance Heard – LSU

After a solid performance in Saturday’s session, Zalance Heard took his game to another level on Sunday afternoon. Heard lost his first rep during the 1-on-1 period and then pitched a shutout for the remainder of the day. His ability to strike defenders first and stay attached is the best we’ve seen at Under Armour. Heard has also shown the ability to beat defenders to the point and stay square throughout the rep. When he’s on time, you have a wall at the tackle position. Heard also shined during the team period burying multiple defenders and consistently finishing his opponents.

Give me tangible reasons. I’m not looking for a lazy take like you just gave

My reasons are tangible. We have 15 games of a film of a true freshman who was a consensus all American blocking top 5 draft picks.

I know you love the internet contrarian angle but quite simply game experience, size, and strength will do in this argument.

They are almost clones but one has a year of college strength training and 15 more starts.

That is all circumstantial. But once you claim I am trying to be a contrarian, you lose all privilege in having a healthy discussion about this (not that you were doing a good job of that anyway). Carry on

To be fair, I'd like to hear what cold hard facts you have for why Heard is better.

The silence is why I know he was playing contrarian.
