What is up with all the U-High kids not wanting to play for LSU? It looks like LSU did not even pursue the top players for 2019, so I guess they just didn’t fit our needs.

I don't think any of those kids had committable offers from us

State is loaded for 2019. The staff has had to be careful with in state offers and slow play alot of players to see how things shake out. Cant risk making an early offer to a player at a school like Uhigh and then have to process them when numbers get tight. Only Bama can get away with that without destroying relationships.

You should probably reference the 30 other threads that have been started with your premise and been refuted already.

How many current UHigh players have committable offers? Roy

How many are committed? Roy.

This shite is tired.

I read this a lot. Can you give me names of the kids that this applies to? None of the seniors on the current roster have offers.

I think the last guy we went after from there was Brossette. Obviously, he came to LSU.

The year before that, Brumfield was the only guy we offered. He came to LSU.

You can go back to Tim Williams in 2013 to find a guy who didn't come to LSU, but there are also rumors that LSU wasn't very interested in him.

Edited because I'm an idiot

After Williams, the last U High prospect I could find was Marcus Spears in 2001. And he came to LSU.

First off - Marcus Spears went to Southern Lab - totally different school.

And I was just speaking from personal experience. If I was at high school on a college campus, and a big time recruit - I would want a change of scenery. I would think others would echo that statement, although I may be the only one who thinks that way.

Yeah. Sorry. I was searching "University" on 247 and got lost in my research.

narrative

I gave no account, just posted a tongue-in-cheek Subject line.

I was wondering if anyone had insight as to why none of them were targeted by LSU.

No thanks, not going back to reference and I had no “premise”. Searching and referencing 30 threads is for people with no job, life or future. So now there are 31 threads for bored people to reference.

Uhigh is crazy about LSU....you should see all my old college buddies that went to school there. They bleed p&g more than anyone. That said, some do want to experience what life is like on a different campus. I know I would. But, in the end...they are all die hard LSU so don't post stupid shite like this.

I was impressed with Harris and I would not mind him in the LSU class

Hollins is a fallback plan at this point with other bigger fish still out there

They have commitment from Roy who will be one of top DT's next year, my only concern is the influence he will feel going to IMG next year

Tongue is probably one of those underrated guys at this point, I think he will have a nice college career

Clark, Ryan's boy is too small but will be a steal for someone as well, probably at a lower level

The QB will probably get some lower school offers, same with the OL Rathke

Clark committed to ASU. After he gets in a weight program he will be more able to handle bigger WRs. (See: Deandre Baker)

Doesn't his dad own a training lab for athletes? Seems like they'd have weightlifting on the agenda.
