Rantards have a new favorite player to say that the star system means nothing.

Yeah, I don't think you can top Hester's stars.
Also, Perrilloux's 5 stars won't be topped either.

The star system is a guess based on performance in high school and projected ability to perform in college. Geeks and band members love it more than most.

He was overrated as a three star then and way way way overrated as the 3rd pick in the draft now. He did nothing while here at LSU just took up space on the d-line

he had 8.5 sacks in 2006 and played better that year than any LSU DE in years and years

5.7-5.5 All-Region Selection; considered among the region's top prospects and among the top 750 or so prospects in the country; high-to-mid-major prospect; deemed to have pro potential and ability to make an impact on college team

your right we didn't win any games when Jackson was taking up space on the d line.

In 2007 he had 10 pass deflections.

Jackson is a fantastic player, but KC had needed O-linemen WAY WAY worse than they needed him. I'm surprised Jackson didn't turn into a trade.

The defense has a ton of needs. Last years 1st. round pick Albert has played ok on the O-line. They need a pass rush, this is where they are going. Last year Dorsey had 46 tacklet and only one sack. They need a rush and they think T-Jack will help them right away. Having two X-LSU players starting, might do the trick. We'll see. I hope they both do well.

I think the Hester era ended last weekend when Patrikc Lipoma had that breakout Spring game. And he didn't even have a single star on Rivals!
