I’m puzzled by that. Also, how did we not get devonte Dobbs and MEMPHIS did.
I know that I know 1% of what the coaches know. But dam how does Memphis get dobbs when we have holes at LSU?

He doesn't show as signed though. I know LSU wanted him, but the grades were the issue. If they are still interested they need to call and tell him not to sign yet.

Dobbs proved to be vastly overrated. Michigan State insiders admitted that his high school rating should have been more like a 3 star instead of a top 50 player, but that he started so highly thought of that it was hard to move him down that far

The guy is a monster. Wish we had him! He was rated lower because of his academics. I watched him play he’s a beast.

On PFF it shows he started 2 of the first 3 games then barely played the last 3 (but did play some), so he lost his starting job. His grades were, eesshh, not good at all. But hey he was a freshman.
Someone on 247 who actually is a Charlotte alum/LSU fan (watches every Charlotte game) said he got overwhelmed a lot early on and likely lost his starting spot. Said Charlotte's OL coach got poached by Kansas and said that could be where he ends up.

If he's still 335 or north of that then he's likely playing at OG size vs OT. He probably needs coaching and conditioning or to slide inside at OG. See Bradford at LSU.

I wonder where he is weight wise. He was a big guy coming out of hs and I can’t imagine Charlotte having a top S&C program in place.

I saw him in person and shook his hand the Sunday after the Arkansas game last year when I running around the the stadium. Dude is a physical specimen. Bigger than Glenn Dorsey was his senior year of HS as far as sheer mass and muscular development.
