Watch more than the first two plays.

Ok let's try this..
Who does Ty remind you of?
And why?
He has an extremely long windup style release. Like Tebow long release. His footwork is inconsistent and he often doesn’t use his lower body at all when throwing, throws off his back foot when he doesn’t have too and looks like he always is trying to escape the pocket instead of climbing into it.
My comp is Jacory Harris. QB that signed with Miami in 2008. Long lean athlete with potential but needs a ton of work.
Maybe Feliepe Franks but he doesn’t have Feliepes arm strength.
Again- no comp to Burrow at all.

Throwing the deep ball with accuracy is a huge plus for any qb. It's not that easy and if you can do it consistently and your wr's are above average, you will likely put up insane stats. Burrow threw the deep ball as good as anyone including a ton of pro qbs.

So he drops the snap from center in the shotgun, has a pass rusher in his face, launches the ball nearly 50 yards down field perfectly on target in a tight window.
Ok, I'm done.

When they don't want a player at LSU, they just make stuff up to support their agenda. They'll even outright lie.
There are some who don't want Williams at LSU for some reason. So they've made up this scenario that he is inaccurate. But not a one of them has posted or cited any valid info to back up their claim. "Nuss is much more accurate than Williams". Based on what? He wasn't one year ago as sophs.

Fact is Nuss threw for 68% completion rate his junior year. That’s a fact!

Some HS coaches who have seen Nuss play say his film is better than he plays

And they'll have to get over it. Williams is our Target until we actually start really pushing someone else.
Our fans clamor for 5* qbs yet when one is right in front of them, and actually very interested in us, they don't want him. It's nuts.
Williams went to the UA future 50 and was the best prospect there. He was just bumped to the top QB in the country on Rivals(not exactly a good argument mind you) and likely to on 247 next week. What's not to like?

On second look:
1) Good runner, has some running highlights in last 10% of video.
2) Definitely no D1 prospects on his team's OLine.
3) Very smooth and effortless passing. Not really a big windup as far as some posters have said, at least in my opinion.

Yeah his arm is the real deal and the accuracy was pretty damn good on all of them. Some were crazy good at dropping in. Obviously he is nimble and quick in the pocket.
But can he touch pass a 16 yarder over a linebacker ? Turned the clip off without seeing one pass less than thirty yards or so. I do realize it’s a high school offense and not that complex but some stuff over the middle and some slants would be nice.

I don't know about 5 star but nussmeier is just smooth to me.
He has a little Johnny Manziel in him where good stuff happens when the ball is in his hands.
I would love nuss if they miss on williams

Fact is 247 shows he completed 67% of his passes in 2019. Some on here claim you can't teach accuracy when it comes to DT QBs. Yet it appears Nussmeier improved his from 54% as a Soph. So that argument must not be true.
247 didn't list Williams' 2019 stats.
For comparison Nussmeier and Williams 2018 Soph stats from 247:
Nussmeier:
122/228 .535% 1557 Yds, 12 TD 5 Int
Williams:
137/246 .557% 2624 Yds, 26 TD 7 Int

Was literally about to post this. He’s a Franks clone, same delivery and all. His mechanics are also very bad. This is the kind of guy you take when you’re taking two QBs in a class.

OK, I give it to you, that dude looks like Brett Farve, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers all rolled into one. Christ.

that just get it done. Screw practice warriors. I am not saying this about Nussmeier or anyone in particular. A large number of evaluators have no idea what they are looking at any way

You must be related to our current governor that would explain a lot

247 says he has a 5 second 40 with a 32 inch vertical.
Must have been loafing during his 40 time. You should run a least a 4.7 with a 32 inch vert.

I like these clips much better than Caleb Williams running the ball.
