Read Dandy Don this morning and saw that Bolden is on board as expected but also Brad Kragthorpe of Idaho State, the son of LSU quarterbacks coach Steve Kragthorpe is now a Tiger. Apparently he redshirted last year. So does he have to wait before being eligible to play or is the fact that he redshirted and never played make him eligible to play without sitting out?

He has to sit, but I think he is the new T C McCartney (sp?)

TC is now a Graduate Assistant. Actually, I think he held that same role last year. I'm not 100% on that. Krag's son won't be on scholarship.

I know I saw T.C. on the sidelines numerous times last year, just don't know if he held that same Grad Assistant title

TC was a grad assistant for a couple years I think. But now he's on the staff at Colorado in some capacity.

But yes, this Kragthorpe is no doubt a walk-on that will help with having enough arms for practices. It's probably a little too early to say whether or not he's on the coaching track.

I wasn't really commenting on his ability, although he would have been a hell of lot more likely to play in Idaho than here. I was just speculating that, like TC, he may be majoring in coaching. Could be other reasons to be close to home though.

I don't know, but I would say it's a near certainty that he is a walk-on. Dude is like 5'11" and 175lbs.

That's not a coaching position.

Coaching is hard work and long hours, but if you are good at it and your team is a winner $$$$
Could get a degree in a lot of other things and be seriously unemployed in this economy. If you got the skills and the temperament for it coaching is pretty good choice for a job or vocation depending on how you look at it.

Here to get a ring! I doubt he would be on scholarship even if he is good enough to deserve one.
