Turning into a big recruiting weekend

First Justin Fields, then the #1 DT in Texas, a top OT and now Chase... 
Florida commit JaMarr Chase will be in town at the same time as 5-star QB Justin Fields. Pretty big recruiting weekend ahead for #LSU. LINK

Chase did a quiet visit before the dead period after committing to UF, think we're gaining a lot of steam there.

No he absolutely came. IT never came out publicly till several weeks after when he said he made a quiet visit to LSU before the dead period because he didn't want UF coaches finding out.

This weekend is huge. Doubt we will get any commitments due to these guys having interest in taking other visits, but this weekend will go a long way in keeping us near the top of their lists. If we could pull Fields that would immediately make us a contender for years to come. He's the highest ranked QB out of HS since Vince Young. He's going to be special. And Chase isn't going to UF.. I refuse to believe he saw that offense and was remotely interested.

Better coaching staff and 2 lost season will put them 2 or 3 overall in the final ranking.

I'm assuming that with QB Fields coming in for a visit he'll be here for the game Saturday. Not a great opponent for him to see but the great atmosphere to experience on Saturday night.

Eff it, since he's off this week, bring Jarvis Landry in and let him play catch with Fields on the sideline too, while we're at it.
