IF you believe 247's ratings, Murphy is the 3rd best QB in portal...Mensah the 6th best. And they are using "Transfer ratings" for both. I haven't seen Murphy play but I don't think Mensah is anything but average/slightly above for a starting QB.

I was worried in September when I saw how talented he is that he'd only stick for a year. Tulane's set up decently to replace him with Ty Thompson, they're likely better off spreading out the $1M they were going to pay him on 5-6 other guys building up the rest of that roster.
