Tru Edwards. For a guy that is 6'3" 200 lb, son of Troy Edwards, and now coming up on a 1,000 yard receiving season with a starting QB who had only 1,900 passing yards all season, so Tru Edwards had over half of his passing yards. Surprising he was never rated by any recruiting service.

I think he would be a pickup that is underrated still by most recruiting services. With a QB like Nuss, he could be another 1,000 yard WR here I feel. Just had an amazing catch and TD.

Oh jeez, I only know his name because of NCAA. Doesn't mean anything in the real world, but he was my top receiver when I played with LA Tech. I make everyone look good though, their RB was the top RB in the country.

LSU has 12,000 WRs already. They don’t need another one. Especially one from Louisiana Tech. He’d be a wasted roster spot right now.

Several said LSU did not need Keon Coleman or Tre Harris. Looking back I wish they had played football at LSU.

This is the first time he’s been mentioned on this site, so chances are we aren’t going for him and never will. Just because a father, brother or uncle was good doesn’t mean a son, you get brother or nephew will be good.

God, classification means nothing anymore. On last night's broadcast he was listed as a "SR"...guess another COVID year deal which was the worst decision in the history of college football to grant another season to those who wanted it. Edwards is a good player for sure but not as good as Tre Harris from last year's portal. Plus, LSU's WR needs have more than been met IMO.

I think you are correct that he is underrated as 247Sports has him basically a medium 3*. He is better than that but not a need for LSU anymore.

It’s not a covid season thing he’s trying to get another year under the clown world Pavia ruling, where juco seasons played can apparently no longer count as a season of eligibility because it denies NIL earning opportunities.

You stated it perfectly....yet another "clown world ruling". Man, I'm getting so damn tired of these 6 and 7 year players in college. There have been a lot of them...possibilities of 4 regular years + normal redshirt + medical redshirt + COVID + your stated JUCO year back. All of this is restricting the "new blood" players since the scholarship limit is still 85...at least in the SEC.
